2018 Remembrance Day Ceremony
The 2018 Annual École Brentwood Elementary School Remembrance Day Ceremony was held on Friday November 9th, 2018, at 9:15 am in the school gymnasium. The Primary, Junior and Senior Choirs lead by our Grade 6 choristers presented a beautiful ceremony for their fellow students, family and friends. The Grade 6 Guitar and Melody Chime players also performed. Special thanks to all the students involved in today's performance, it was a very special day! WE WILL REMEMBER.

2016 Remembrance Day Ceremony
The 2016 Annual École Brentwood Elementary School Remembrance Day Ceremony was held on Thursday November 10th, 2016, at 9:30 am in the school gymnasium. The Primary, Junior and Senior Choirs lead by our Grade 6 choristers presented a poignant ceremony for their fellow students, family and friends. A wonderful first performance for the 240 choristers of the École Brentwood Elementary School Music Program! Bravo!!
2016 Town of Strathmore Remembrance Day Ceremony
The École Brentwood Elementary School Senior Choir performed at the annual Town of Strathmore Remembrance Day Ceremony! What an honour!! The Ceremony was held November 11th, 2016 at the Civic Centre from 10:15 am - 12:30 pm. 54 choristers from the Senior Choir gave a heartfelt performance of O Canada, In Flander's Fields, One Candle and God Save the Queen with maturity and respect. Our two student accompanists, Emma Moore and Kiri Sader were rock stars. Danielle Fisk and Tegan Deloli laid a wreath on behalf of our school with such confidence. As always our long time accompanist Kathie Zakresky was there for us. Tami LeMoine and a great group of parents were there as always to support their children and École Brentwood Elementary. Much to be thankful for on a day of reflection and hope for a better tomorrow!
2015 Remembrance Day Ceremony
The 2015 Brentwood School Remembrance Day Ceremony was held on Tuesday November 10th, 2015, at 9:30 am in the school gymnasium for a large and appreciative audience. The Primary, Junior and Senior Choirs, 232 choristers strong, were featured in their first performance of the year and the Grade 6 Senior Choir members led the ceremony with maturity and confidence. Special thanks to Madeline Hvingelby and Kenna Drydale, our student accompanists, Margo and Madeline Hvingelby for laying a wreath on behalf of Brentwood School, Devinn Doering, a grade 11 student form SHS, for playing the Last Post and Reveille and to Retired Master Seaman Douglas Earnshaw for being our guest speaker.
2014 Remembrance Day Ceremony
The 2014 Brentwood School Remembrance Day Ceremony was held on Thursday November 6th at 9:30 am. The grade 5 and 6 classes took a leadership role in this assembly and the Brentwood School Senior Choir was featured singing five selections. Many thanks to all the family and friends who came to support our first performance of the year. Special thanks to our accompanists; Jacob Galandy, Zhara Harney and Kathie Many students brought gifts for Operation Christmas Child. Congratulations to all on a job well done!.
2013 Remembrance Day Ceremony
The Annual Brentwood School Remembrance Day Ceremony was be held on Thursday November 7th, 2013 at 9:30 am in the Brentwood School gymnasium! Many thanks to all the family and friends who came to support our first school wide performance of the year. Special thanks to our accompanists; Britney Davidson, Primary Choir, Rachel Neil, Junior Choir, Kathie Zakresky, Senior Choir and Kyle Green, guitar for playing so beautifully. Special thanks as well to Mrs. Irene Knappe and her father Mr. Gerry van Doorn who spoke representing the Royal Canadian Legion, Strathmore Branch #10 and Jenna Mohamed who played the Last Post so beautifully on her trumpet. Approximately 245 students in the Primary, Junior and Senior Choirs as well as the grade 6 guitars, melody chimes and percussionists presented a reflective and meaningful ceremony to all those in attendance. Many students brought gifts for Operation Christmas Child. Congratulations to all on a job well done!
