École Brentwood Elementary School is very excited to be able to offer the Alberta Music Education Foundation’s Keyboards for Kids program during the 2018-19 school year!
Approximately 6-8 selected students in Grades 3 and 4 will have the opportunity to take piano lessons on a keyboard at no charge from October to May during the 2018-19 school year. WOW!! The lessons will take place Tuesday after school in the Music Room ending promptly at 3:40 pm. Mrs. Steeves will be the instructor but other Brentwood School staff and community members will help and support the students during lessons. Students will be required to practice at home and three missed lessons or lack of practice will result in withdrawal. Waitlisted student will then have an opportunity to start lessons. Selected students without a piano or keyboard at home will have a keyboard supplied with a $75 deposit.
Interested students need to submit the attached application by Monday September 17th. Accepted and waitlisted students will be notified shortly thereafter with further information.
